persist

–verb (used without object)

1. to continue steadfastly or firmly in some state, purpose, course of action, or the like, especially in spite of opposition.

OK, Coaches, we’ve reached the last article in the System Series. I’ve truly enjoyed being able to share information with you over the past several months, which I hope has benefited you and your business. Having said that, nothing we’ve discussed will have much of an impact to you if you’re not committed to being here a year from now. In other words, it’s hard to win the race if you’re not in it.

What makes network marketing work is a dedication to keep working until you make it work. It’s committing to following the core principles of this business and doing them over and over and over again with consistency and persistency until the compound effect kicks in.

If you had a goal of one day being able to run a marathon, it wouldn’t happen by you stepping out your door and on your first day running 26 miles. It would happen by you starting with a mile or two, and, with a consistent steady effort over time, reaching your goal.

The same is true in business. As the saying goes: “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” And neither was any successful business. In fact, with most franchises, you’d work for years just to get to the point of breaking even. What’s required, at minimum, is a one-year plan and a commitment to following that plan, in order to succeed. It takes time, dedication, and work. So, have you set realistic goals and expectations for yourself to succeed in this business?

The reality is that it will take time to build a large organization. It takes time to build a business—any business. MLM is no different in this regard. It takes time to sort through the explorers, find good people, and teach them what they need to know.

However, if you are consistent with your efforts, work effectively by following the Game Plan, and duplicate your efforts by teaching your team to do the same, you will see a consistent rate of growth. It won’t happen overnight, because that’s just not the way life works, but as long as you keep working at it, your income will eventually build to the level you want.

The problem is most people don’t do this. Most people who get into an MLM give it a halfhearted try, then they give up the first time they get a “no” and complain that “it doesn’t work.” This is where the vast majority of “MLM failures” come from. But it does work. Team Beachbody® works if you work the Game Plan and Team Beachbody! And only the ones who are determined to stick it out, put in the effort, and actually DO what it takes to succeed will end up on top.

That’s how it happened for me. Starting out, I didn’t break any records. Despite an already full work schedule, I just committed to doing the little things every day and being consistent with my business. As the months passed, leverage started working for me, and in 14 months my part-time income matched my full-time income, and I had my FREEDOM!

That’s what I was after. I desperately wanted my freedom. It didn’t matter to me if others quit. It had nothing to do with my dreams, my goals. I wanted a better quality of life, to come and go as I please, eat lunch when I felt like it, and not have to ask three weeks in advance for a day off.

What are you after? What’s your WHY? And are you willing to devote some time and dedication to making it happen? Make sure it’s very clear to you. Having a big WHY will do more for your business than anything else. Your reasons to succeed have to be stronger than your reasons to quit. If they are, then just keep plugging away. You’re going to figure this thing out. There are many Coaches here who are successfully building a rock-solid business and enjoying the freedom that goes along with it. And you can do it, too!

Just remember that the only way you’ll build a team of dedicated, productive, and committed Coaches . . . is to be one! If you want your team to be doing two exposures a day, it starts with your two a day. If you want your Coaches to commit to going to Summit, then you have to book your flight first! And if you want to have a chance of growing a team that follows the Game Plan and will be here a year from now, you have to be here a year from now!

Your success depends on you. It’s your business, your dreams, your future. So make a commitment for the next 12 months to following the Game Plan, and really apply and be consistent with everything you’ve learned from this series. Do the exposures, attend the events, develop your body and mind, and you will find success. Make the commitment to be here a year from now, and know that if you stick and stay, you’ll get your pay!

Team Beachbody Match.com? | Beachbody Coach

Here is a great article by Larry Zimberg, National Game Plan Director

Isn’t it great having a partner to work out with? You seem to push a little harder, sweat a little more, and somehow find that extra gear to kick it up a notch. You motivate and inspire each other, keep each other accountable, and it can even produce a little friendly competition. The point is: you get more done!

Well, having the right success partner for your business can do wonders for you as well. Finding someone to align yourself with who has goals like you and sees things the way you do, and who will make you stretch for more, can make a huge difference. The right partner will help you stay motivated, engaged, and keep you accountable and on track toward achieving your goals. And you will do the same for them.

While the right partner can help you progress faster, the wrong partner could slow you down. So, when choosing a success partner, keep these things in mind:

* Look for someone who has the same—or a greater—commitment level as you.

* Make sure your schedules are similar enough so that you can both communicate easily.

* Most importantly, choose someone who shares your business goals.

You may have to try it out with a few people, as it may not happen on your first go-round (after all, chemistry is important), but understand—it will be worth it!

This is a relationship business and a team sport. It’s a place where you form lasting relationships and bonds that just don’t come along every day. My business partner, whom I started with over a decade ago, became, and still is, my best friend. The successful business we built could never have been accomplished as a solo act.

Working together means winning together, and when you find the right partner to work with, what you’ll find is that 1 + 1 adds up to a lot more than 2, and the advantages are boundless.

Is the P90X Nutrition Plan Important?

Have you ever heard the old saying “abs are made in the kitchen”?  Well, there is some truth to that.  What you eat is just as important as the workouts themselves.  You can’t eat Burger King everyday for lunch and expect to see your six pack.  It might be there but it will stay covered with a layer of fat if you are eating horrible.

Before starting the P90X 90 day workout you really need to sit down and do some planning.  You need to pull out the P90X nutrition guide and figure out which approach you are going to take and which level you are at.  Taking these steps are going to set you up for getting the best P90X results possible.

No matter what type of exercise your are doing or what workout program you are following you should always take the time to consider what you are going to eat and make some calculations based on what your goals are and what you are trying to achieve. Actually take the time to plan out your meals in advance so you don’t find yourself stopping at Taco Bell every day for lunch.

The P90X nutrition plan takes the guess work out of the equation and tells you what to eat and how much if you choose the meal plan approach. Just flip open the nutrition guide, go to breakfast, lunch or dinner, select what level you are at and pick your meal.  There are multiple meals to choose from.

So before you are start working out, figure out your meals.

300 Workout Plan | 300 Spartan Workout Routine

300 Workout Plan So I am sure you are familiar with the Brad Pitt fight club workout but what about the Spartan 300 workout?  What the heck did these guys do to get so ripped?

The 300 workout was created by Mark Twight who is the man you want to talk to if you want to get ripped fast.  He is a self taught trainer and knows what it takes to get results.  The 300 workout got it’s name because this is the number of reps you do throughout all of these exercise. (Just as a word of caution, don’t go run off to the basement and think you will be able to complete this.  The 300 workout is not for beginners and you could seriously injure yourself.  This is something you work up to over time.)  Now if you have just completed the P90X 90 day workout and were able to complete all of the moves then you could probably give this a try. The idea is to complete all reps and exercises with no break and as fast as you can. Maybe you will able to compete with Andrew Pleavin who played Daxos in 300 and finished the 300 workout in 18 minutes and 11 seconds.

These Spartans did not start out in this shape.  It took 10 weeks of training for 90 minutes to 2 hours each day, 5days a week to get in this shape.  Gerard Butler trained for 12 weeks and often put in more hours to get his 6 pack.

When the training started there were guys in perfect shape and others that were 40 pounds over weight but if you have seen the movie you know what the end results were.  All of the Spartans looked like they have been training together for years and that is exactly what the director Zack Snyder wanted.

Here is what the 300 workout consists of:

  • 25 Pull-ups
  • 50 Deadlifts and 135 pounds
  • 50 Push-ups
  • 50 Box jumps with a 24 inch box
  • 50 Floor wipers with 135 pounds
  • 50 Clean and press at 36 pounds
  • 25 more pull-ups for a total of 300 reps.

Pheeewwww!  I am getting tired just writing it.  All of the actors regiments varied depending on where they were at physically.  Some of the guys did high intensity circuit training, some lifted with heavy loads, some did mini workouts and some did hard interval training on the Circuit II rowing machine.

Of course, as with any training program you will most likely have to make some nutrition changes.  So figure out what you are going to eat and plan out your meals prior to starting any fitness program.  This will be a major factor in the results you will see.  If you are looking for a fitness program that will also give you a nutrition plan then check out some of the Beachbody workouts.  If you are looking for an extreme workout then check out the P90X workouts or Shaun T’s Insanity.  Both will challenge you and are not for beginners.

Wine is Good and Healthy for You

Wine has Health BenefitsThere is no doubt that drinking wine comes with health benefits. All the hoopla, publicity and commercials are only a powerful testimony that wine indeed offers numerous health benefits to individuals who drink in regular and moderate quantities. One to two four-ounce glasses are sure to boost one’s immune system and do wonders in his overall health and wellness.

One vital health benefit of wine is that it reduces the risk of developing a heart attack. A study by the Harvard School of Public Health that took 16 years to complete led to a conclusion that moderate drinkers who suffer from high blood pressure have a 30% less chance of developing a heart attack compared to nondrinkers. Red wine also has procyanidins, which serve as protection against heart disease. Those wines coming from southwest France and Sardinia have a higher procyanidin content compared to other wines.

Wine also lowers the risk of stroke. It decreases to half, the chances of getting a stroke caused by blood clots among people who drink moderate amounts of alcohol. This is according to a study made by Columbia University among 3, 176 respondents for eight long years. Among moderate drinkers, brain function also lowers down at a slower rate than among nondrinkers, according to a Columbia University study.

Drinking wine also cuts down the risk of developing cataracts, or an abnormality of the eye that is characterized by opacity of the lens. A scientific study conducted in Iceland with 1,379 individuals and published in the Nature journal in 2003 revealed that moderate drinkers are 32% less probable to get cataracts than nondrinkers. Also, persons who drink wine are 43% less likely to have cataracts compared to those who are mainly beer drinkers.

It is interesting to note that priests have long life and healthy heart because they drink wine during mass. That is to say that they also do not drink too much wine. When not consumed in excessive amounts, wines are effective in removing bad cholesterol and replacing it with good cholesterol. Wine is a perfect match with meat, which is why meals often come in a meat and wine combination, because wine regulates the cholesterol intake due to the high cholesterol content of the meat.

Additionally, in earlier times, wine is already known to be healthy and good for the body. The diets of earlier people usually consisted of less food and wine. Wine has a high calorie content since it is mostly alcohol. In order to feel full and contented in their meals, people used to eat only less food as long as there was the wine to match, and this led them to having a more sound body and a longer life.

There is also the benefit of reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes. According to a research of Amsterdam’s VU University Medical Center, moderate wine drinkers are 30% less likely to develop type 2 diabetes than nondrinkers. Another study by Stony

Brook University showed that moderate consumption of wine, most especially red wine, lowers down the risk of developing colon cancer by 45 percent. This is because of the resveratrol, a phytochemical, that is found in wine. The resveratrol reduces the production of oncogens, which when present are likely to cause cancer. There is indeed a whole lot more benefits and advantages that moderate and regular wine drinking offers to the public.
