Have you ever heard the old saying “abs are made in the kitchen”?  Well, there is some truth to that.  What you eat is just as important as the workouts themselves.  You can’t eat Burger King everyday for lunch and expect to see your six pack.  It might be there but it will stay covered with a layer of fat if you are eating horrible.

Before starting the P90X 90 day workout you really need to sit down and do some planning.  You need to pull out the P90X nutrition guide and figure out which approach you are going to take and which level you are at.  Taking these steps are going to set you up for getting the best P90X results possible.

No matter what type of exercise your are doing or what workout program you are following you should always take the time to consider what you are going to eat and make some calculations based on what your goals are and what you are trying to achieve. Actually take the time to plan out your meals in advance so you don’t find yourself stopping at Taco Bell every day for lunch.

The P90X nutrition plan takes the guess work out of the equation and tells you what to eat and how much if you choose the meal plan approach. Just flip open the nutrition guide, go to breakfast, lunch or dinner, select what level you are at and pick your meal.  There are multiple meals to choose from.

So before you are start working out, figure out your meals.
