This depends on your current fitness level. If it has been a long time since you have worked out then I would not suggest jumping right in to P90X. The last thing you want to do is get frustrated when you start a new work out program. There are modified moves in P90X but it is not for an absolute beginner. You might want to take a look at Power 90- http://teambeachbody.com/shop/-/shopping/Power90?referringRepId=13165

This is a pre- P90X work out program that will help you get ready for P90X. There are also other programs like Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs and many more to help get you started. If you would like to talk just use the "booknow" button at the top right of this page and put in a time you would like me to give you a ring. Then we can talk in a little more detail about what your goals are and what program would be best for you. Shakeology is also a great program for beginners as well.

Hi Kristy,
You might not be able to keep up that pace for 90 days also your intensity level for the second workout might be lower depending on where you stand physically right now. I have had people double up before but not for the full 90 days. In the doubles version you also add a cardio workout 3 times a week in addition to the regular P90X workouts so depending on your fitness level you might be able to see some good results from doing P90X that way. If you find yourself feeling wiped out then you might want to go back to 1 a day.

Hi Lisa. I always recommend doing the classic version. Plyo is one of those great workouts that you don't do in the lean version. I say go for the classic version but just modify the moves if you have to. You will be blown away with the results you will get from just dumbbells and a pull up bar or resistance bands.

Hi Jeff. I started the P90X Lean workout plan but noticed the plyometrics dvd isn't included with this particular workout plan. I'm primarily looking to lose weight and then tone. Which workout plan do you suggest for me?

Yes you could gain weight with P90X. You will be building a lot of muscle and that weighs more than fat so you could gain weight that way. If you eat more lean meats during the program that should help as well. You can always add more lean protein to the P90X nutrition plan if you are looking to gain.
