So I received and another question the other day from someone who had purchased a pirated (bootlegged) P90X work out program and guess what?  They got burned.  I have so many of these stories that it makes me wonder why people go through the hassle just to save $20 bucks.  If P90X was twice the price I would have paid it and it is well worth it.  If you have done P90X then you know what I mean.

If you have purchased a fake or pirated P90X work out program then I would suggest contacting the company you bought it from first but I am pretty sure you will get no where there since they are most likely in a different country and really don’t care about your problems. If you get no where with the company then I would suggest contacting your credit card company next.  Tell them you were ripped off by a company that sold you pirated material.  You might get some where and they also might say shame on you, you should have known better.  If you purchased through paypal then you might have some other methods to get your money back but you will have to contact them to go over your options.

One thing to remember is when you buy these fake copies you never know what you are going to get and you need everything that comes with the P90X work out.  You need all the dvd’s, you need the P90X nutrition guide and you need the P90X work out guide.  All 3 of these things are essential to your success with the P90X fitness program.  If you do not get one or the other then what are you going to do?  You can’t just go walk into a store and buy these things.  The only place to buy an official copy of P90X or and Beachbody work outs is from a coach(authorized distributor) such as myself, Beachbody, Amazon (more expensive) and sometimes you can find P90X on QVC.  When you purchase from this site or from a coach you are getting the product straight from Beachbody.  If you ever have a problem you just contact customer service or myself if you have questions.  If you are un-happy then you can just return it as Beachbody has a money back guarantee.  You will get no such guarantee with a pirated or bootlegged copy of P90X.

So do yourself a favor and don’t get scammed with some cheap imitation copy of P90X made in China.  Get the real deal and get everything you need to get in the best shape of your life. Anne Abston of Mount Pleasant ordered a P90X workout DVD boxed set from Buy Fitness DVD for $58.90 on Sept. 25. After waiting nearly a month without receiving her DVDs, Abston received her credit card bill with the charge for her P90X boxed set.

“I called the phone number on the bill that was listed along with the charge,” Abston said. “I received a recorded message that the mailbox was full.”

Her experience with the company is similar to that of Amy Reason of Greenfield, Ind., who ordered her fitness DVD set on Nov. 9, as a Christmas present. Her debit card was charged $58.90 on Nov. 12, and a week later, she received an e-mail confirming her shipment.

“The product hadn’t arrived by Nov. 30, so I sent an e-mail checking on (my) status, with no reply,” said Reason. “I sent two or three more e-mails after that. As of today (Dec. 15), no money has been refunded to my account and my order has not been reshipped.”

So my brother put my P90X 90 day results pictures on facebook and seemed to have stirred up a little controversy. One of his friends said that they are not real and that I used photo shop or some other program to alter the original pictures.  I laughed and told my brother to tell him thanks for the compliment.  On my day 90 of P90X I weighed about 165-167 pounds. Not huge by any stretch of the imagination.  I wasn’t trying to lose any weight with p90X but I lost a few pounds anyway.  What I did lose though were a few inches of fat around my bell. (probably from beer)  That was the goal.  I did get more than I bargained for.  My back really seen some drastic improvement. I guess I have been neglecting it all of these years.  Prior to P90X I lifted 3-4 times a week and ran 2-3 times a week and P90X was still a hard work out for me in the beginning.  P90X definitely has put me in a lot better over all shape as I was using muscles that I really never worked on before.  Yoga X had me twisting in directions that I didn’t think were possible.  P90X Plyometrics had me breathing heavy and P90X Chest and Back made me quite sore. P90X was an awesome work out for me.  I did it 6 days a week and rested on the 7th and followed the P90X nutrition plan about 90-95%.

So, did I use photoshop?  Nope.  I would have given myself a real 6 pack if I used photoshop.  Also keep in mind that there is a bit of a shadow around some of those pictures which might make me look a little bigger.  Remember, I weighed about 165 lbs in those pictures.  All in all I was real happy with my results.  If you are looking to take your work outs to the next level then P90X is for you.  Of course you will have to push yourself every day but your body will thank you and if your lucky maybe someone will accuse you of altering your pictures.  I think for my round 2 of P90X I will use this picture as my final 90 day results picture.
