Well it is Valentine’s and instead of buying my honey some flowers or chocolates I got here a nice pair of tennis shoes but I also wanted to give her a little something extra special or should I say extra hairy. My back doesn’t look like this but I do hairy back heart you honey. LOL I know how much you love hairy backs! Anyway, we decided to do Insanity today to celebrate all of the chocolate binging going on today. We did Insanity Plyometric Circuit and Cardio Abs. Good lord. These damn workouts are not getting any easier. I do the Insanity fit test again on Monday so we will see how I have improved if I improved at all.
I was was feeling a bit under the weather this week so I missed 3 workouts but I am going to pick up right where i left off. It is real important not to get caught in a rut or worry to much if you miss a day or 2. Just get back up and keep going. You can’t let one missed day turn into 4 that turns into 2 weeks. Don’t get the mentality where you feel like since you missed a day that now it doesn’t matter or you might as well eat that Big Mac. It does matter, and for lifelong fitness success you will have to get over these hurdles. Everyone gets a little sick from time to time. Don’t let this take your eye off the prize which is a long healthy life. Just pick back up and keep pressing play.
