Body Beast Day:1 Build Chest and Tris

Body Beast Day 1 Chest and TrisBody Beast Day 1: Chest and Tris

Breaking news: You can now “try” Body Beast FREE for 30 days with our Beachbody On Demand. You will also have access to other workouts like P90X, Insanity, TurboFire, Brazil Butt Lift, T25, 21 Day Fix Extreme, P90X One on One’s and many others. (great value)

So I have decided to take on a new 90 day challenge and that challenge will be the Body Beast work out. I have done P90X, P90X2, Insanity and Asylum and I wanted to give the Body Beast a run.  I am not the type of person who wants to get huge but the claims of 10-20 pounds left me intrigued so I decided to give it a try. It is very difficult for me to gain weight so I am going to try my hardest to stick to the Body Beast nutrition plan. Goal is to see if I can pack on 10 lbs in 90 days.

First off let me say this. Body Beast Chest and Tris is definitely some old school lifting but in a way that I have never done before. Single sets, super sets and giant sets. 15 reps, 12 reps, 8 reps x2. I am definitely going to be feeling this work out tomorrow. This first work out really seemed to isolate the muscles in a very particular manner. (I liked this.) If you like throwing around some metal then you will like this workout.

What do you need for Body Beast Chest and Tris?

  • Bench or stability ball
  • Sturdy chair
  • Weights (I would say 5 lbs and up, I used 5lbs up to 40 lbs for this work out)
  • Body Beast worksheets and pen
  • Water and towel

One of the things I like about this Body Beast workout is that it was only 49 minutes long.  Some of the P90X workout I am use to were as long as 90 minutes so getting done in under 50 is a bonus. Caution: just because it is a few minutes shorter don’t think it is easier, it’s not!

Just a note for this 90 day Body Beast journey. Yes, I will be taking all of the suggested Body Beast supplements which are Fuel Shot, Super Suma, Base Shake and the Creatine and yes you can get all of them with your Body Beast workout program depending on what package you choose.
