Body Beast Workout Week 10Body Beast Week 10

Breaking news: You can now “try” Body Beast FREE for 30 days with our Beachbody On Demand. You will also have access to other workouts like P90X, Insanity, TurboFire, Brazil Butt Lift, T25, 21 Day Fix Extreme, P90X One on One’s and many others. (great value)

Finally, the last phase of Body Beast which is called the Beast Phase.  The difference with this phase is you cut back on the calories so you are not eating as much, Beast Cardio is added back in to the routine and the workouts are a combination of the Body Beast Build phase and the Body Beast Bulk Phase. The workouts in this phase vary from week to week. Week 10 consists of Body Beast Build: Chest and Tris, Body Beast Bulk: Legs, Body Beast Build: Back and Bis, Beast Cardio, Beast Abs, Body Beast Bulk: Arms and Body Beast Build: Shoulders.

I can already feel a couple pounds coming off after this week. It’s amazing what dropping 500-600 calories will do for your body. One things is for sure , I was spoiled with the short Bulk phase workouts. Once you get back into the Build Phase workout they are all a little longer. Nothing over an hour though.

I am sticking to the nutrition plan and still taking all 4 Body Beast supplements which are Super Suma, Fuel Shot, Creatine and the Hardcore Base Shake. It is definitely easier for me to eat 2400 calories vs 2900 calories. 🙂 At least now I know what to do if I ever want to pack on 13 pounds or more. Like I said in a previous post, this is the most I have ever weighed but I know I will drop some pounds during this phase. I am going to be happy to drop a few of these pounds but I will not be dropping all of them.

Breaking news: You can now “try” Body Beast FREE for 30 day with our Beachbody On Demand. You will also have access to other workouts like P90X, Insanity, TurboFire, Brazil Butt Lift, T25, 21 Day Fix Extreme, P90X One on One’s and many others. (great value)–   Well this is the last week of the Bulk phase and it is on to the Beast phase. This Bulk phase was six weeks long and I really enjoyed the shorter workouts. 35-45 minutes is definitely different than 55-65 minutes. These shorter workouts will make it easier to create a hybrid with some sort of 2-a-days once I’m done with these initial 90 days of Body Beast. This week consisted of the same workouts as the previous 5 weeks,  Body Beast Bulk: Legs, Body Beast Bulk: Arms, Body Beast Bulk: Chest, Body Beast Bulk: Shoulders, Body Beast Bulk: Back and Beast Abs. Only 3weeks left and I think I am going to write 1 post to encompass those 3 weeks as it seems that my post are getting a little redundant. A couple things I can say for sure are I am stronger, I have put on some weight (about 13 pounds so far) and I have gained inches. This is the goal with Body Beast and it is definitely happening. If you are looking to bulk up then Body Beast is for you.  I am still eating about 2900 calories a day and taking all 4 of the Body Beast supplements, Fuel Shot, Base shake, Super Suma and Creatine.
These have now been replace by the new and improved Beachbody Performance line.

Well I am just marching on right now with my workouts. There is only one week left in this phase and then it is time for the Beast Phase. Don’t let the name fool you, you will actually be eating less in this phase and upping the protein. This week was more of  Body Beast Bulk: Legs, Body Beast Bulk: Arms, Body Beast Bulk: Chest, Body Beast Bulk: Shoulders, Body Beast Bulk: Back and Beast Abs. Getting stronger and stronger every day and I am up to about 178 lbs now.  This is the most I have ever weighed and to think that I was down to 155 about six months ago after I did the 21 Day Ultimate Reset. I am actually looking forward to cutting back down on my calories. I have to get rid of this extra 1 1/2 inches I added to my waist from eating everything in sight. 🙂 Still seeing gains and I will post some 60 day pictures soon.

Well, week 7 of Body Beast is complete and I am feeling pretty good. My weight is holding pretty firm around 175-178 and I am starting to feel it a little bit in my waist.  I am looking forward to the Beast Phase so I can cut my calories back down and get rid of that extra inch in my waist from all this eating. Gains are still holding about the same and I am not sure if I am going to gain and more inches in this phase but so far I am happy. The workouts again this week consisted of  Body Beast Bulk: Legs, Body Beast Bulk: Arms, Body Beast Bulk: Chest, Body Beast Bulk: Shoulders, Body Beast Bulk: Back and Beast Abs. The workouts in the Beast phase are pretty much the same it looks like but they switch back and forth from the build phase and the bulk phase. I’m ready to switch it up. Two more weeks.

I am still trying to eat around 2900 calories a day and I am taking all of the Body Beast supplements plus my Shakeology daily. I feel like a broken record with this post as it really sounds the same as last week. LOL  This is why I am not writing daily about these Body Beast workouts since it would get a little redundant after the first time. All I know is this, there is nothing in the Beachbody product line like Body Beast.  If you are looking to put on some mass then this is the program for you. Since I am more than half way done with this program it is almost time to start thinking about what program I am going to do next. I am thinking about some sort of P90X2, Insanity, Body Beast, P90X  and Asylum super hybrid. I definitely want to incorporate some more cardio and since the Body Beast workouts are so short I should be able to fit in two workouts. Work a little Yoga X back in and some P90X2 Core.

This week was pretty much the same as Body Beast week 5 for me. The workouts consisted of  Body Beast Bulk: Legs, Body Beast Bulk: Arms, Body Beast Bulk: Chest, Body Beast Bulk: Shoulders, Body Beast Bulk: Back and Beast Abs. I definitely feel myself getting stronger and I am up to about 178 lbs now. I still can’t believe that I have gained this much weight. I was eating a lot when I was doing P90X and didn’t gain this kind of weight so it is either the supplements or the way these sets are arranged. (Maybe it’s both) Either way, all I can say is this program works. If you want to bulk up you definitely will.  I have 3 more weeks left of this phase and then it is on to the Beast Phase where I will cut back down to about 2400-2500 calories a day. I am curious to see how many of these pounds come off during the Beast Phase. Once again I want to say how much I like doing 30-40 minute workouts.  Amazing how much work you get in during that short amount of time. I am still taking the Fuel Shot, Creatine, Super Suma and Base Shake every day and pretty much getting in all of my 2900 calories every day as well. Yes, I still drink my Shakeology every day as well. That is just one of those things I do daily, just like working out.

30 days in the books with Body Beast and I must say I am impressed. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started and I didn’t like the name “Body Beast” but I am still glad I decided to give this program a go.  I have gained about 10 pounds to put me at 175 and this is the most I have ever weighed. I have been doing a  lot of eating and trying to stick to the 2900-3000 calories a day that the nutrition guide says to eat. I have also been taking the suggested Body Beast supplements, Super Suma, Fuel Shot, Base Shake and Creatine. (And of course I am still drinking my Shakeology every day)

Below are my Body Beast 30 day results pictures.  Keep in mind I was in pretty good shape before I started this program. I have been doing a hybrid of P90X, Insanity and Asylum. Also keep in mind I am no photographer. The 30 day pic was taken at a closer angle than the day 1 pic. Personally, I think I look the same just 10 pounds heavier but I that is the goal in this phase.

People always wonder why I stress the importance of taking before pictures and measurements, well, this is the best way to track your results. The scale doesn’t always tell the whole picture.  Here is how to take your proper measurements when staring a new workout. One of the other things I noticed is that my right arm is about .25 inches smaller than my left arm. I find that kind of strange since I am right handed but I will do a couple extra reps on my right arm to see if I can even it out. My left leg is also stronger than my right leg. Weird but I guess it is what it is. I am thinking that this program should even things about a bit more.
