For this, Beachbody has tailored different types of programs for beginner workouts to suit different preferences. You can go for low-impact workouts, enjoy dancing, or give weightlifting a shot.   • PiYo

What more can you ask for than a combination of Pilates and Yoga rolled into one single program? PiYo is a low-impact, beginner Pilates plus Yoga program with some cardio as well as strengthening exercises included in it. With your yoga mat on hand, Beachbody trainer Chalene Johnson is going to take you on for 13 to 45 minutes each day for 60 days. All PiYo moves are surely low-impact so expect them to be very mild on the joints. From 25 minutes to 45 minutes, you are going to get continually charged up as the workouts accelerate in complexity, intensity, and length. Equipment to prepare includes agility markers, resistance bands, dumbbells, and an optional PT Sandbag. Although it is focused on strength training, it will also be alternated with cardio so you can have variety while getting all comfy with lifting weights. Interestingly, it ain’t called a Shift Shop for nothing because Chris just brought in 4 all-new workouts that is going to take that shift to a new level. Chris’ revolutionary ramp-up method involves accelerating your workout by 10 minutes each week.

But don’t you worry, a Prep Week has been added together with some new workouts that are all designed for testing your strength and speed as you get stronger and faster. Prep Week comes with Quick Shift workouts for 15 minutes just so you can get a taste of what you can look forward to. To score your performance at the start, there will also be 2 Proving Grounds workouts. There’s a modifier that allows you a sneak peak of every exercise so you can do less intense moves while you are still gaining the strength and confidence to perform them fully. Of course the nutrition plan is an essential part of the program for refining your diet and maximizing both your fat loss and muscle growth.

  • A Little Obsessed

A full-body workout by trainer Autumn Calabrese, A Little Obsessed is great for cardio, strength-training, and muscle-building. You can do it for 30 minutes per day for a consecutive 5 days. Each 30-minute workout focuses on different themes like cardio, legs, and booty but the goal is to burn fat while building muscle in various parts of your body. You will need strength slides, resistance loops, and dumbbells. An eating plan goes with the program and you will be introduced to the use of portion-control containers and timed-nutrition. This is a key element for A Little Obsessed as what you eat will help you achieve optimum results.

Actually, this workout is to prepare you for more a more intense program called 80 Day Obsession – still by Autumn. But if you feel that you are not ready for that just yet, A Little Obsessed is a good place to start. The exercises are similar for both workouts so it will help you get used to the strength slides and resistance loops. The difference is that A Little Obsessed is a bit easier and helps you get strong enough to climb to a more advanced level.

You will be dancing for 6 or 7 days a week depending on your choice of calendar. CIZE can be a bit demanding physically and may require more bodily coordination but Shaun T’s got your back so it’s really a go for beginners.

Oh yes, Mes de Más is a Spanish-language program that is a first with Beachbody with no other than the stunning, NASM-certified Idalis Velazquez as your personal trainer. What you will get is an exciting mix of different full-body workouts for 6 days in a week with the 7th day as your rest day. For 30 days, you will enjoy 30 minutes per day of cardio and resistance workout. As for equipment, you will only need a yoga mat and an optional PT Sandbag if you want to add some weighted resistance while you work out and help with toning and sculpting the whole body.

Meal planning has also been made easy as Idalis understands how it can be for beginners. The exact amount and type of food to consume each day is provided so even those with zero experience when it comes to nutrition will be able to adapt easily.
