Days 40 and 41 with Shaun T’s Insanity are Max Interval Circuit and Max Interval Plyo and let me tell you, these are extreme.  These 2 workouts can zap your energy for an entire day or make you fall asleep 2 hours before your normal bed time. In other words these 2 workouts are tough.  I am looking forward to doing nothing tomorrow but relaxing on the couch and maybe doing another blog post.  One thing I have noticed during these workouts is you need to follow the nutrition plan and get enough food so you have the energy to complete the workouts at a high intensity.  This is Insanity, so you want your intensity to be high. You do not want to be dragging through these workouts.  Insanity is for advanced fitness enthusiasts who want to push themselves hard to get some awesome results.

I tried to find an excuse not to workout today but then I reminded myself that I had Lobster Fest last night at Red Lobster and I had the mashed potatoes and a ton of butter with my lobster tails.  That’s right, I said tails, since I had 2 of them, and some cheese sticks, and some shrimp drenched in butter and of course that awesome bread they bring out.  Do I feel guilty? Nope. Anything in moderation.  I eat pretty darn healthy every day so I figure a little butter at Red Lobster isn’t going to kill me. (or will it?)
